Brand: SKF

Details:

The SKF light series angular contact ball bearing is an open bearing with a 40-degree contact angle, brass cage, normal clearance rating, and Annular Bearing Engineering Committee (ABEC) 1 precision. It supports moderate one-directional thrust loads, and combined radial and thrust loads where the thrust load is predominant. When mounted in pairs back-to-back or face-to-face, the bearing arrangement is relatively rigid and helps reduce vibration and noise. This bearing is made of low-alloy, through-hardened carbon chromium steel for durability and resistance to deformity under heavy loads. The 40-degree contact angle of the balls in relation to the raceways gives the bearing a greater capacity for supporting thrust loads than bearings with a lower contact angle. Its open design facilitates lubricating the bearing in place and dissipating heat. This bearing has a brass cage to prevent the balls from coming into contact with each other during use, reducing friction, vibration, and noise. The bearing has a normal axial internal clearance designation, making it suitable for applications where the load and speeds do not result in thermal expansion. This clearance provides latitude for self-realignment and compensates for static and dynamic alignment errors. Additionally, the running accuracy and performance levels for this precision bearing meet Annular Bearing Engineers' Committee (ABEC) 1 (ISO P6) standards for a moderate level of precision. ABEC-rated ball bearings are manufactured to tight dimensional tolerances, making them useful in applications that require high accuracy, high rotational speeds, and increased operating efficiency. This angular contact ball bearing is for use in commercial and industrial applications, including pumps and compressors, automotive drives, gearboxes, and printing machines.

Rolling bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and

Features:

  • Single-row angular contact ball bearing for universal matching, supporting moderate one-directional thrust loads, and combined loads where thrust load is predominant
  • Ball contact angle of 40 degrees relative to the inner and outer raceways increases thrust load capacity
  • Open configuration for lubrication applied in place
  • Brass cage evenly spaces balls for reduced friction, vibration, and noise
  • ABEC 1 tolerance ratings for accuracy and low rotational speeds

Friendly fast service at a great price. Will go back for any future needs!

Right up front, Mark comes across as very honest and dependable. I took my lawn tractor to him to take a look at after another shop quoted me a high price to fix my motor after they had it sit in their shop for 2wks. He diagnosed/repaired it in less than a week. Also save me some money. I would definitely recommend him and his shop, and will be coming back to him for any more small engine work that I may have in the future.
